Veer Wallpaper - Awesome collection of desktop wallpaper.

The once laughing stock of start-ups, truemors.com, was acquired today by the NowPublic news network. One has to wonder what motivated the sale - the merits of the founder or the site itself (I guarantee it could not possibly be the latter).

I think Kawasaki is a brilliant entrepreneur and businessman, but his site was a dud. It just goes to show what a little notoriety can do to your overall chances.

I’m pretty excited about this.  The majority of NYC start-up and tech events I have attended are seriously shitty.  Here’s to hoping that the turn-out is reflective of the awesome community that I see every day on news.yc.

Ok, so I’m still tweaking a few things, but I was anxious to finally get this launched. I’m not 100% sure what I am going to put on here yet but it’s going to be a little less personal and a little more start-up/design/tech oriented than my personal blog over at itsandrew.  Also, I haven’t used Wordpress in ages, so I figured now would be a good time to kick the tires on the latest release and attempt to start blogging again with a “real” blog platform. Meh. We’ll see how it goes. RSS feed coming soon.
